Bus Sponsorship

Kumeroa-Hopelands School has operated a bus service, using two Ford Transit buses, for many years. This has increased and stabilised our roll numbers and it has given many families, who live outside our immediate area, the opportunity to come and enjoy the chance of our rural education. This is an opportunity that rivals the best that larger schools have to offer!

This is where you can join our Team

Kumeroa-Hopelands School is inviting your organisation to be part of our School Team through sponsorship. There are opportunities for you to support our school and promote your organisation by placing advertising on our buses. With this your business will receive advertising direct to the heart of our community, increasing your profile and creating a positive community minded image of your organisation. A sponsorship structure is attached for you to see how you can be involved.

You will be interested to know that our bus, which your organisation’s name can be boldly displayed upon, travels around the Kumeroa/Hopelands, Woodville and Pahiatua areas, plus extra trips for class activities to Dannevirke, Palmerston North and surrounding districts. This is at least 120kms a day, 600kms a week, 24,000kms a year!

Here are the options:

  • Buying signage on a bus. This would allow you to have your name displayed for three years, on a scale of sponsorship commitment.
  • Donating services or goods to a bus in exchange for signage. This may take the form of tyres, servicing, oil, petrol, or anything that will help us to keep our bus functioning in a safe and efficient way.

Both options above will also qualify you for free advertising in the Kumeroa-Hopelands Community Newsletter which is delivered to over 200 households in the Kumeroa, Hopelands, Papatawa, Woodville and Kohinui districts.
