The following schools form the Bush Schools' Association and the Tararua Kāhui Ako: Alfredton, Ballance, Eketahuna, Kumero, Makuri, Mangatainoka, Pahiatua, Pongoroa, St. Anthony’s, Tararua College, Woodville.

The Bush Principals’ Association has an established history of working together collegially. As part of the Association, Principals meet to discuss general educational developments, and those issues and/or initiatives directly impacting the Bush District.

In real terms, this means that our school gets together with other small schools to make sure we have access to and get to enjoy shared opportunities. These activities include Hockey, Cross-Country, Athletics, Swimming sports, Speech Competitions, Cultural Festivals as well as shared Professional development for our staff and teachers.
